Your use of the heart-shaped confetti as blood is still the greatest idea ever, in my opinion ... The only thing that I think could make this any better would be if you'd managed to somehow make that ribbon look like a conventional noose. ^_~

Sterling, I don't think the image, as it is appears now, is a controversial as you thought it would be. The real shocking impact doesn't have the full shock impart of the act of suicide by hanging. I think msfeistus pointed out it's weakness is the fact that the ribbon does not appear to be a conventional "hangman's" noose. It just looks like it has been tied up as a playtoy for the cat to bat at - sorry for being brutally honest but that is how the ribbon and the bear appeared to look upon first glance. The title, "Strung Up on Love", coupled with what the imagery presents it is fitting for it makes one think and reflect upon the pursuit of love and how it can turn into an unhealthy pursuit or ending. I wonder how many will take note of the position of the bear to the heart lying on the ground? The bear's gaze is purposefully posed to look down at the heart laying there on the floor. The heart is out of reach and will forever be out of reach for the noose prevents the bear from ever attaining the heart which symbolizes love. The underlying message is good, but (pardon the not intended pun) the execution could be better.

And btw, I am very glad you placed the disclaimer in the description

wow..these r getting better and better..but um..i really like this..i can understand y u put the mature content..prolly better to go ahead an do that then face all the ppl comin after u..but..i really like this one..i, along with ~msfeistus , think that the confetti hearts for blood is a really really amazing idea..that is still one of the most creative things ive ever seen..poor lil bear..i really like the symbolism in this one..i think a lot of ppl can really relate to it..this is really awesome tho..great job!!

Hmm, I don't think of it as that big a deal, really. However, it does take on a more sad theme than the others. It appears a bit more cynical about love in general than Valentine's detesting.

But, oh, the idea I have. I hadn't thought of anything until now. Do you mind if I contribute something, and if so is pixel art okay?
